Pouco importa que a família nunca tenha atravessado os Alpes a pé em direcção à Suíça, mas muito prosaicamente de comboio para a Itália. Marcação na Agenda - Quem alinha?!
“Experimentar o palco como se de um estúdio se tratasse…”
Talvez tenha sido esta a frase que despertou todo o Projecto “Fácil de Entender”. Os The Gift são vistos sobretudo como uma banda de laboratório, de estúdio, de trabalho meticuloso antes de tudo estar pronto para se dar a conhecer… Contudo, é no palco que se sentem melhor, que se exprimem mais e também onde mais tempo têm passado ao longo dos últimos tempos…
No Grande Auditório do Centro Cultural de Belém o grupo apresenta o espectáculo “Fácil de Entender”. Tal como no Disco/Dvd a ideia é que o público entre na casa dos Gift. E esta casa tem um sentido especial... Foi aqui que o grupo apresentou a maquete “Digital Atmosphere” em Maio de 1997 no pequeno auditório. Foi aqui que o grupo apresentou “Vinyl” em Janeiro de 1999 aquando da primeira parte dos “The Divine Comedy” no Grande Auditório e foi aqui no CCB que o grupo preparou e ensaiou todo este conceito “Fácil de Entender” antes das gravações do Disco/Dvd. Por tudo isto é um espectáculo especial e que o grupo encara de forma muito cuidada.
No Centro Cultural de Belém o público é o convidado a entrar no ambiente calmo e intenso onde a luz e a envolvência começam íntimas... A tranquilidade, as emoções e a intimidade são os ingredientes base para este início de noite... Os The Gift terminam esta digressão numa data que se espera muito especial, que já esgotou todas as salas por onde passou até ao momento: Centro Cultural Olga Cadaval, Cine-Teatro de Alcobaça e Teatro Municipal de Faro.
